About Us

The Regional Security Operations Center (RSOC) at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley provides 24/7 cybersecurity monitoring, incident response, and security support for school districts, local governments, and public sector organizations across South Texas.

We serve as a centralized cybersecurity capability for the region helping organizations detect threats earlier, respond more effectively, and strengthen their overall security posture.

What We Do

We assist organizations in strengthening their overall security posture through practical guidance, policy support, and strategic recommendations.

Through hands-on training, research opportunities, and real-world experience, the RSOC helps build cybersecurity talent across the region.
